When I first saw the circles drawn on a white board over 30 years ago, I thought my money worries were over forever. It just made so much sense. Why wouldn't everyone want to do this? We would help each other out and everyone would make all the money they wanted. I couldn't understand why anyone would say 'no' to such a tremendous business opportunity. And those that had been involved in MLM at one point in their life may not have had a positive experience. I suspect that many had promises broken or unrealistic expectations based on hyped-up conversations with people saying whatever they needed to in order to 'sell' you on the wonders of MLM. It is not for anyone who expects to receive something for nothing, or to get rich quickly. It is not for those who have an employee mentality - waiting for instructions on what work needs to be performed each day. It is not for people who are looking for reasons why it won't work for them (or anyone else). If you are worried about what others may think of you, or are easily influenced by others who may discourage you in your business, your chance for success in MLM will be extremely slim. Anyone looking to 'try' the business out should save their money and their time. If they are content spending their 'spare' time on the couch watching television, they may not be a good fit for an MLM home business.Qualities of Successful MLM Business OwnersHowever, I do believe there are qualities to look for in potential business partners for your MLM home business. If you could choose anyone to work with, what qualities would they have? Would you want someone that has had a history of success in his life? How about someone that is decisive and goal oriented? Or someone with a strong desire for 'more' in her life? Would it be important to work with someone who takes responsibility for his business and his future? Do they like people and would want to help them?Like most things, our attitude will greatly affect our success in life, and in our MLM home business. Compared to most business models, the MLM home business model is a simple business - but not an easy business. Most of us have what it takes to be successful, but it's more a question of whether we will to do what it takes to build a successful MLM home business.Compared to other business models, an MLM home business can provide an incredible future for you and your family.
