The Truth About Amway

Amway corporation was founded in 1959 by the duo Jay Van Andel and Richard Devos. Amway actually went by the name of Ja-Ri until in 1963 it was changed to Amway. This company is one of the biggest names around the world, they rack up sales in the billions, have thousands of employees and have over 3 million independent distributors. So what's the problem?HistoryAmway started life as Ja-Ri in 1959 until its name was changed to Amway in 1963. Amway operates in more than 80 countries. In 1999 Quixtar was launched, this was an internet based company and replaced Amway in the United States in 2001 after the majority of distributors moved over to Quixtar, However Amway was still the chosen name globally and in 2007 the company once again rebranded to Amway Global.ProductsAmway is the distributor of products for a company called Alticor. These products range from air purifiers to skin cosmetics to Nutrilite and laundry products. The products are actually quite popular and they are responsible for the billions in annual revenueBusiness ModelAmway is a Multilevel marketing company where commissions are earned through a referral or customers actually buying a product. This has been seen as one of the worst aspects of this business as Multilevel marketing has demoralized many people and making them shy away from this business model.I didn't go too in depth in this review for a number of good reasons, Amway is one of the worlds biggest direct selling company in the world and the brand sells itself. If I had gone further then I just tell you what you probably already know. The purpose of this article is to expose the truth about Amway. The problem with Amway is that the training is based on door to door selling and mainly person to person interaction and since most people are comfortable with selling to their families it is these people that get the first sermon.Look you might once in a while get a recruiting super-star who is comfortable with the whole thing, comfortable with talking to every stranger and his dog and he or she might tremendous energy enough to even recruit 20-30 people a month. After a few months though those recruited people start dropping like flies and why exactly?Because they can't DUPLICATE their sponsor or upline they can't get comfortable enough with trying to convince strangers who have no interest in their business opportunity. That is the problem with these methods will have you trying to imitate your sponsor and that is just not possible and that I believe is the killer in MLM.These methods are just not duplicatable there is no system in place for you to plug into, you can see how all this is inefficient and produces little to no results for the average network marketer. It's time for some LEVERAGE.
