Multi Level Marketing - How to Succeed

This article is not to promote any one MLM. That is not why I am writing this article. I have seen too many people fail at too many MLM's and the idea of others failing is not one I enjoy. I am writing this in hope that it helps at least one other person out there, looking to succeed but lacking the tools.When researching a MLM, make sure you find something that motivates you or something that you have a real interest in. First thing that makes something important, is you really have to believe in it. Life is a lot easier when you are working for something or someone that you enjoy or believe in. It makes wanting to promote that product that much easier, and you will be viewed as believable by others that you are promoting it too.With most MLM's, the first thing they want to have you do is go to all your family and friends and push this product to them. These people are in your sphere of influence. However, you work more than 1 MLM, and you'll be finding some annoyed family and friends. And considering that 95% or more of most people fail at MLM's, the odds that you have someone not succeed makes that task even less fun. We all know someone who has approached us about 3 different MLM's in the last year. The friend or family member that does that starts to get viewed as "that guy" (or girl!).The key with MLM's is getting people to want to find you, not the other way around. Whether it be local, OR....through internet marketing. With all the social media out there nowadays....and with the fact 90% (that number is actually an estimate, but it has to be pretty close) of people go to the internet first when looking for new opportunities, these are people that are looking to become part of your sphere of influence. They are looking for you!!Whether it be starting a blog, writing articles with great keywords, posting on Craigslist, doing low cost (or free ads), working your Facebook, MySpace, and/or Twitter accounts, there are several FREE ways to advertise your MLM. If you were given a website when you started with whatever MLM you are working, maybe you set up a low cost landing page for people to find you.Did you ever wonder how people get to the top of Google searches? Well, knowing how to do that could be important too. Keyword research along with knowing what topics to write about make all the difference in the world. I am willing to bet that close to 100% of people that succeed in internet marketing are making us of the internet and the millions of users that are on it every day. The world is your sphere of influence, you need to make that happen!I am not saying that you should not talk to family and friends about an opportunity that you think is great. Expanding your "database" of people is essential though. The internet is the easiest place to do that. Having seminars at hotel ballrooms is great, but at the end of the day, putting something out there that thousands can see/read/click on as opposed to a half filled hotel room on a Wednesday night is what is going to separate you from the rest out there and ultimately, put you in the 5% that succeed as opposed to the 95% that fail.
