No one likes to receive a no response to a prospecting call. But the reality is if you are contacting a lot of people on a consistent, daily basis, you will receive more than your share of no's.This is not a reflection of your recruiting skills. For whatever reason, people automatically feel as though you are trying to pull the wool over their eyes or have a sinister plot to sell them something that they will regret ever having purchased.Yet there are a few who will say yes. How many? It varies according to how skillful you become. For some, if they get 1 yes out of 20 contacts (be they telephone calls or an email message), they consider that a great achievement. For others, if they get 1 yes out of 50 contacts, they consider that a great achievement.Is it worth all that rejection (all those no's) to get that one yes? If that "yes" is a player, you bet it is worth it. For example, a major player joined our primary network marketing company approximately four months ago. Since then he has sponsored over 140 people. Is his "yes" worth receiving 19 or even 49 no's? I certainly would go for the no's if that was my prize.You might laugh but I set up a spreadsheet and have fun with my "Go For The No's Game".
