If you have an MLM business or have ever been in an MLM business you will truly relate to what I am about to tell you.When I was in my MLM Company I was so enthusiastic and keen I did exactly what my upline told me to do. After all he was the expert and he was earning $15,000 a month plus! I followed his instructions to a Tee. I made a list of everyone I could think of. This list included family, friends, old work associates, people in my online chat group, my Facebook friends. You name it... If you knew me you were about to hear about my new MLM business. I walked the streets of the small country town where I live, handing out business cards & flyers telling all in sundry about my fantastic new weight loss product.My upline kept ringing and motivating me saying "keep going Sandy you're doing a great job. I was doing a great job in my opinion but it wasn't as easy as he made it out to be. I knew there was something not right when my friends and people I had known for years started to run when they saw me. So, I decided to take my MLM business online, still sticking to the same marketing methods I was using in the outside world. I contacted people on social networks I had never met before and told them all about my great product. (I bet you've done this too, right)This was where I met a wonderful lady (I'll call her Sue). I was in the middle of my pitch when Sue asked me if I had read the book Magnetic Sponsoring. I had no idea what she was talking about, however I was curious and really needed to find a new marketing strategy. It was very obvious the one I was using just simply didn't work. This one book opened up a whole new way of marketing on the internet.Since reading this book I am now involved in a company that provides a world class internet marketing education. Qualified people now contact me on a daily basis wanting to join my business. These are people that are desperate to escape the world of MLM rejection and downline attrition. I'm not going to lie to you, internet marketing is hard but I am easy in the fact that I work for myself, my office is my laptop and it sure is a whole lot more fun and certainly doesn't feel like a JOB.If you can relate to my story I really do feel for you! You know, the usual answer. Well what if that just doesn't cut it? What if Rover isn't interested? You just blew through your warm market and now you are stuck. In MLM, lead generation is the elusive network marketing pot of gold.Why do network marketers fail at such a high rate? Most sponsors genuinely care for their reps. Usually they are friends or family of some kind. They do not want to see you fail and they work their tails off to help their downline succeed, yet few rarely do. Home Based Business Success - Changing Karma For Home Based Business

I spent many hard earned dollars trying to find a way to earn extra income in a home based business. I bought or invested in many at home possibilities and on-line opportunities. None of them panned out in the least. Maybe I am not a good, independent, home based business person, or a good salesperson. Or maybe my focus was on the wrong thing - - making money. Perhaps I had bad karma.I don't know what the reason was, but home based business success eluded me. So I decided I needed to make a philosophical change. Instead of focusing on what my business could do for me, I made a shift to what can my business do for everybody else? Instead of helping just ourselves, let's help others.Network marketing your home based business is all about connecting. In a broad overview, it means telling people you know, your network of friends, relatives and associates, about a product or service you're trying to sell. And you should try to steadily grow your network of associates and friends as much as possible to expand your potential client base. The really big, successful, home network marketers have a huge network that they always manage to keep growing. Interestingly, they seem to focus it around other network marketers.Well, my idea is a little different. What happens if you don't want the focus of your network to be other network marketers? Well, not unless they want to help other people who need support. Where there is big need, there are people who want to help - - and usually, lots of people. To me, that means there is a network of friends, family, co-workers or concerned, community people who want to make a difference. What a wonderful group of people! What a network! Wouldn't it be great to to have those type of people in your home based business network and in your downstream?Our local Women's Center, which also included the Rape Crisis Center, was always hurting for funds. Every year it was a fight to have enough to stay afloat, much less expand any services. I know there were plenty of supportive people within the community, but their contributions were like one time deals. With the MLM opportunities out there now, these local supporters could grow a strong network of residual income for their special organizations. Their help would continue for year after year and continue to grow. Do you know of any organizations that wouldn't like that? They would not only have more revenue to keep operating, but would also be able to expand their programs. How cool is that?As for individuals, like wounded veterans or police-people or fire-people, the same would be true. These people's family, friends, supporters could finally have a substantial, residual building way to help these local heros. There would be a realistic way to try and pay back their sacrifices for us. How? If there are easy, low cost, home based opportunities that use MLM to do the lion's share of the work, then what a deal. Why not utilize those home based businesses in a new way? What Do I Need to Start an MLM Business?

Today, more than ever, I find both men and women wanting to work at home. There are many reasons people want to work at home. For me, it was the desire to be home with my newborn daughter. If you wish to start an MLM business, there are a few things you'll need:1. You will need the start up fee. Each company has different start up options. Most are somewhere under $100. Some of the home party plans are a bit higher as they give you full-sized products to get you started with your first party. This start up fee should get you your initial supply of catalogs, a few sample or demonstration products and all of the necessary paperwork. Ask your sponsor what the start up options are. Sometimes the larger kits offer more products at a very reduced price. You can later either give away or sell those products for a higher profit margin.2. You will need a phone line. I actually use my cell phone. It's with me at all times, making it very easy to reach me. Customers will call you, the company might call you and team members will call you. At different times I've had a land line, an 800 number and even calling cards. All are options once you have a phone line. You don't need a separate business line, however I do suggest that if you're using your home phone for business, you put a professional greeting on the answering device, not your child singing the ABC's.3. You'll need time. While an MLM business can be worked at any point in a twenty four hour day, you will need to invest time each day. I work outside my home, so my time invested in my MLM business is first thing in the morning, lunch time at work, evenings at home and of course on the weekends. If I receive a phone call during the day, I take a break from work and take the phone call. This is one reason I love using my cell phone.4. You'll need some people skills. People skills can be learned. I've worked with women who were not yet comfortable to say hello to a stranger. With time, work and desire, these same women today lead large teams and have huge customer bases. MLM is a people business. You need to understand people and have a desire to work with people.5. The last thing you'll need is a plan. No business can succeed without a plan. Plans tell you what you're doing and show you an expected result. As an example, you're reading this article. Writing articles is part of my plan. I know that as a result of my writing articles, people will click to my website. Plans can be very basic. I believe without a plan, many people never get their businesses off the ground. Work with your sponsor and develop a basic plan to get going.With these five things, you can start an MLM business and create success. Here's to your personal success in your business!

Ride the "Winds of Change" - Money Management at Your Fingertips

Do you often feel frustrated at your lack of control over those everyday expenses that just creep up on you every month, JUST when you were convinced you had it all under control? Target. Essentially, to best project into the future I had to establish what my TARGET expenditure should be in relation to what I wanted to achieve? How much did I need to spend on food, utilities, transport? What held true to my beliefs and values, did I have to change the way I viewed life? These are all questions I asked myself. For example, I discovered there were quite a few steps I could take personally to help with global warming, e.g. by choosing to walk or take Public Transport wherever possible, weather and time permitting of course... you CAN make a difference!4. Positive Habits. Then I started to TRIM with everyday decisions to keep within our monthly budget (even if it meant switching service providers OR saying "No" to that favourite Chai Tea Latte!) A simple daily discipline to eliminate poor financial habits and develop new rituals became part of my everyday life.5. Improve Your Budget. I also started to open my mind to new ideas! At every opportunity, I started to read, listen and learn from online and offline experts committed to helping you manage your family budget plan, whether at a grass roots level or towards higher goals and planning for prosperity. I learned that there are a few exceptional money manager tools online which help families to tweak their budgets, to evaluate how soon they can pay off that debt, and how best to do it each month; for example, how much more do we have to earn to afford that holiday we want to take later in the year?The key is to observe, take action, evaluate and change.
