A know, like and trust relationship is paramount to your business and a step that cannot be substituted with anything else.Second, make sure that you have a checklist of the steps that your new business partner must complete for their initial setup and take the time to go through each of the steps. It is not necessary for you to complete the checklist in one sitting. Assign homework and follow up on the assignment. Take the time to ensure that it is completed otherwise the initial setup may never be complete, leaving gaps in the training which may show a lack in your leadership abilities. The checklist also sets up an easy way for your new business partner to duplicate this same procedure. To them it is a predefined step to use when they sponsor someone into their business. This is one of steps of duplication which anyone joining your business needs to be able to do easily and confidently.Third, as your new business partner acquires prospects to call, let them know that you will help them with their calls so they learn what to say and do. After each call teach them the proper way of keeping notes and setting up times to do follow up calls. Let them know how important it is to follow up on a prospect, maintaining interest in the business opportunity as well, and giving the opportunity to build on that personal relationship.As a sponsor, you are a mentor, coach, friend and leader who needs to train your business partners to follow in your footsteps. The Go For the No's Network Marketing Game

No one likes to receive a no response to a prospecting call. But the reality is if you are contacting a lot of people on a consistent, daily basis, you will receive more than your share of no's.This is not a reflection of your recruiting skills. For whatever reason, people automatically feel as though you are trying to pull the wool over their eyes or have a sinister plot to sell them something that they will regret ever having purchased.Yet there are a few who will say yes. How many? It varies according to how skillful you become. For some, if they get 1 yes out of 20 contacts (be they telephone calls or an email message), they consider that a great achievement. For others, if they get 1 yes out of 50 contacts, they consider that a great achievement.Is it worth all that rejection (all those no's) to get that one yes? If that "yes" is a player, you bet it is worth it. For example, a major player joined our primary network marketing company approximately four months ago. Since then he has sponsored over 140 people. Is his "yes" worth receiving 19 or even 49 no's? I certainly would go for the no's if that was my prize.You might laugh but I set up a spreadsheet and have fun with my "Go For The No's Game". An hour a day - usually between 7PM and 8PM - I make my phone calls. I award myself 5 or 10 points for each call. 5 points for a warm market contact or a network marketer who I might arbitrarily consider average and 10 points for a network marketer that I know is a heavy hitter. I psych myself into not stopping until I hit 100 points for that calling session. (No answers count as "0".)One thing that this game has done for me, it has gotten me to pick-up the phone and make telephone calls. Not my most favorite thing to do nearing the end of the day. Perhaps this can work for you too.
