Affiliate Marketing Or Network Marketing - Which is Easier, Has Mentoring, and a Residual Income?

Which business is easier, offers more mentoring, and will result in making more money? I will attempt to answer these questions from my own personal experiences.I was introduced to affiliate marketing about 6 months ago. After doing my research for a couple of months, I decided to give it a try. To start off, I needed to get into some affiliate networks so I could promote some offers and hopefully start earning some money. I was accepted into 5 networks within a months time. Even without my own website. I then took a few of the offers and did some banner, text, and ppv advertising. Because I didn't have a website or knew how to build a landing page, I did direct linking to the offers. I ended up spending about $300 and never had 1 conversion! For being an out of work carpenter supervisor, that was quite a bit of money to test the waters of affiliate marketing. And I definitely didn't have a $1000 to $3000 or more to spend to be coached by any of the super affiliates!So I then stepped back and looked at what it would cost me just to start making money online. I decided it would take too long and too much money to recoup my investment for some coaching and start advertising the offers again.My other choice for legitimate work from home businesses was network marketing. I have tried working with some of the top 10 mlm businesses in the past. Didn't have much luck then, but I didn't waste a lot of money either. And there was so many things about that type of business that really appealed to me.Most of the network marketing companies nowadays has an autoship amount of under a couple hundred bucks. Which I think is pretty reasonable considering a lot of them offer some kind of fast start bonus where if you enroll under a handful of people you can make your autoship expense back and then some. If someone really worked this kind of home business for a few months, they could have enough people working their business for them. It's an opportunity unlike any other! And with joining one of these multi-level marketing companies you can have access to people that have made a lot of money in the industry. Some have even become millionaires and are willing to mentor and share their invaluable knowledge with the newest of people. They really want to help as many to succeed because everyone benefits. There is no other industry where a person just starting out can eventually make an unlimited amount of money and have residual income for the rest of their life! Where as an affiliate marketer, if you stop marketing your offers, they will not continue to make you money.In conclusion, I believe network marketing is definitely an easier home based business. Has the most affordable and accessible mentoring from industry leaders. And will result in a greater residual income with the least amount of upkeep and more freedom to enjoy it!
