Network Marketing Prospecting - Do MLM Products Matter?
In this article we look at network marketing prospecting and assess the role that MLM products quality has in developing a successful business. Of course branding yourself vs. branding the MLM network marketing products or company is an important factor. In sales, it is a well known fact that people buy from people. But, even so, haven't many companies stayed on top of their industry even with commonplace MLM or direct sales products? Truly, successful promotion campaigns and personal or corporate branding can be significant factors regardless of product quality, although perhaps only in the short run.Sooner or later, a business pushing mediocre products will run out of luck. But isn't it true that there are many network marketing "millionaires" peddling "middle-of-the-road" MLM opportunities and products? I'm sure everyone knows someone who was "sold" on an opportunity based on earnings of someone already "at the top," without due diligence on actual product effectiveness. When evaluating an opportunity, it may be prudent to look at other statistics, such as average earnings in a company, and to take more time doing upfront product quality research.So what difference can true world-class products make? First of all, if you're knowingly foisting inferior direct sales or MLM products on your marketplace it is difficult to stay in harmony with your own values. Not only that, but your customers may find out, making referrals impossible to come by. Thus, conventional "wisdom" that you can, with proper technique, sell ice cubes to an Eskimo, is probably a "pipe-dream."Attraction marketing is vitally important, but takes on a new synergy when coupled with products that make a difference and excellent company management. Your own individual "story" is the key to successful sales. Without your own "personal" results, your prospects will intuitively recognize that you're trying to "sell" them, in the worst sense of the word. In reality, they perceive this at a subconscious level and your subconscious will be sending the message.What have been your own results with the products your company provides? How did your company's products make a difference for you? It is best to connect with your prospects on this level. If new to your business, you can always "borrow" from your personal mentors' most successful product results. With only mediocre products, this step may not be possible, however. Truly, the best MLM network marketing prospecting is achieved when based on your own individual success story.Many new distributors think they need to learn all the features and ingredients of their company's products/services for successful sales. The most effective sales are based on results, however. When your direct sales or MLM products and services fill the gap for someone and provide not according to what you perceive to be their needs, but what they want...you achieve a "true" sale, in the best sense of the word.But, even with a quality MLM product, attraction marketing is still important in order to expose your own experience to as many people as possible. Making yourself the "authority" figure through attraction marketing will achieve this result. This is how top earners in MLM have always become successful. Most have done it through conventional means in "spreading" the word, and have "paid their dues." Now, many new tools, including the Internet can accomplish the same results quickly in very short periods of time. "Overnight" success stories are becoming increasingly ordinary.So what is the bottom line? Product quality is vital, but of equal or higher importance, is development of your own success story with your company products and/or compensation plan. That may sound simple, but at the same time take awhile for many people. Finding the proper combination will "unlock" a large amount of wealth in your life, if you first find the best MLM network marketing, affiliate or direct sales product for your own needs. Only then will you be able to "tell your own story" best, using attraction marketing with both Internet marketing and with your own "real world" contacts to achieve the greatest influence.
