Qualities of a Network Marketing Leader

The people that we tend to get our mentoring and coaching from are leaders in the network marketing arena. They may be leaders in their own company or perhaps in other network marketing companies who have had success and are now trainers, motivational speakers or coaches. When I began reading Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and found myself asking... "What makes a great leader in network marketing?" I believe to be a leader in your organization, a leader will posses the following qualities:A leader will render you a humble service - HumilityA leader possesses the ability to get others to perform - InspirationalA leader does not need to have the appearance of an expert, but knows where and who to point to to find answers - KnowledgeableA leader helps people succeed without fear of his/her followers (down line) being more successful then himself - ConfidentA leader builds relationships so he knows how best to help that person grow as an individual - MentorsA leader will practice what he preaches and does not expect his followers to do anything that he is not willing to do himself or has already performed the task himself - IntegrityA humble leader does not require a big fancy title to give him the respect of his followers (down line) - MeekIf a leader decides to be "too busy" to change plans or to rearrange a set schedule,...he has admitted his own inefficiency. Leaders should never be too busy to HELP someone who is in need of their time. This said, a leader must know when and who to delegate some details and tasks to.Unwillingness to render a humble service as a leader makes me wonder just what this teaches those who may be thinking of joining a network marketing company?A leader needs not fear any kind of competition from their followers. For a down line to be able to duplicate, the leaders will mentor and train them to copycat exactly what they have done, allowing them to branch out. The capable and competent leader trains their sponsored people the details of his position...no competition. He will delegate, at will, any of the tasks requiring some attention. This is the only way for a leader to multiply himself and prepare himself to be at many places, and give attention to many things at one time. You will gain more than you could by your own efforts alone. An efficient leader may, through his knowledge of his job and the magnetism of his personality, greatly increase the ability of others and do it more efficiently than without the aid of his leader.EMPHASIS OF TITLE, a competent leader requires no title to give him the respect of his followers. The man who makes too much over his title generally has little else to accentuate. The doors to the office of the real leader are open to all who wish to enter. His working quarters are free from formality or elegance. A mentor or leader with a servant's heart does not need accolades or payment.There are many folks throughout the world who are still engaged in a popular pastime...get without giving. A leader will show you how to put an honest, persistent effort into your dreams and endeavors. Lazy people have never accomplished anything and will never reap the rewards. The FREEDOM that we enjoy and boast of today does not, and can not bring riches without EFFORT. Step aside Lazy Boy Marketer.
