Warm Market - The Truth About Warm Market Prospecting May Surprise You

As you probably already know most network marketing companies really push selling to what they call your warm market. This would include your friends your family and anybody else you have ever known. Most people are uncomfortable pushing their products or services on friends and family and have every right to feel this way. We are talking about people that have probably known you most of your life, now you are expected to fire off a good sales pitch to them. Well don't feel bad, I won't do it either. When you start mixing business with friends and family, you could very well be asking for trouble.There are those network marketers that don't think twice about pestering everybody they know with their business and most of them probably don't have very many friends outside of their business. Training new marketers to do business this way is exactly why people avoid you when they find out what type of business you are in. I have over 20 years experience in the construction field. And if I bugged everybody I new to let me build something for them, or told them how great my company was, trying to get them to join me every time I saw them, they would run from me and think I was nuts.I have never referred to my friends and family as my warm market. I like to refer to them as my lonely market, because that is exactly what you will be when you run them all off by pestering them with your business deals. My warm market is those that are looking for what I have to offer. Finding my warm market is a lot more simple than most network marketers would ever believe. I have never bought a single lead in my life.I have never called a single lead without they themselves giving me their phone number to do so. Yet people I have never met are giving me their email addresses and phone numbers so they can find out more about what I have to offer. Now that is about as warm of a market as you are going to find and I never pestered anybody. We have more technology at our fingertips than we know what to do with and learning to use it is a lot easier than you could imagine.
